WHISTLE BLOWING POLICY

The Council is committed to the highest possible standards of openness, honesty, integrity and accountability.

In line with that commitment, any employee of the Council may use the Whistleblowing Policy, including permanent and temporary employees, agency workers, home workers, those contracted to carry out work on behalf of the Council, Council employees seconded to a third party, volunteers and school-based employees, including teachers if the policy has been adopted by the governing body.

POLICING PLEDGE

The Policing Pledge tells communities the minimum standard of service they can expect from the police and applies to all police forces across the country ensuring they work to a national standard while still focusing on local priorities.

The Police Authority fully endorses and supports the implementation of the Policing Pledge. We understand how important it is for the communities we serve to know what to expect from their police force.
